Clark IP Founder, David Clark, is a registered Australian and NZ Patent Attorney with 25 years experience working in private practice Intellectual Property. Having worked as an engineer and inventor, he brings a unique mix of practical experience and technical expertise to his patent and registered design practice.
David complements his patent expertise with a strong business acumen. Having successfully managed patent practices at a major first tier law firm and a significant IP firm, he is able to provide a product which is not only technically accurate but also commercially meaningful and relevant. This is achieved by listening to the client as the technology expert and working collaboratively to translate this information into quality work.

Deborah has been in Senior IP support roles for over 16 years.
Deborah’s experience covers a range of administrative and paralegal tasks including preparing and filing patent applications with IP Australia as well as preparing and filing international applications with the World Intellectual Property Organisation.
This work includes prosecution of patent applications including preparing and filing requests for examination, transcription and submission of responses to examination reports with IP Australia; patent watching; monitoring and payment of renewals for Australian and overseas patents and patent applications; managing our sophisticated IP docketing and document management system including policing of deadlines; maintenance of key client relationships; managing our accounting software including financial reporting, invoicing, and responsibility for collections.
